View and control interpolation between keys from Dope Sheet
Dope Sheet shows a bar between keys, when the curve is flat, for example when the cube does not move. I find that it makes more sense to invert the representation to indicate that between two keys an interpolation is taking place. In addition, by clicking a key on the bar, you could see a curve thumbnail and a slider, to adjust the interpolation on the fly without having to open Graph Editor.

The slider idea is interesting (and likely warrants its own post here). But the general convention for timeline views like Blender's Dope Sheet is that a solid bar means no movement. It's probably best to adhere to that convention. Perhaps we could keep the solid bar for holds, but use some other kind of visualization for the space between changed keys.
