Stretch to Fit Render and Keep Aspect Ratio clip options
Add two simple Stretch To Fit Render and Keep Aspect Ratio options for clips. Image Offset is not enough because it just gives you the original size and scaling manually with X and Y is extremely cumbersome. This should simply be a checkbox in the Strip Input panel.

1 : why add comments instead of editing your proposal ? 2 : what would the difference be between enabling "Scale to fit render" (without enabling Keep Aspect Ratio) and not doing anything, since by default the video is scaled to fit the render resolution ? 3 : > scaling manually with X and Y is extremely cumbersome You don't have to. You can offset, then center with [this add-on](https://github.com/johnroper100/vse_center_image) and then scale in "Uniform Scale" mode.

Actually, you’re right. Just adding Keep Aspect Ratio with default scaling would be enough.

When I originally wrote this suggestion down I was coming at it from using Image Offset which scales the clip back to regular size, but it makes more sense to just leave the default scaling and only correct the aspect ratio.

Alternatively, Keep Aspect Ratio + scale to fit could be the default behaviour and Stretch to Fit (ignoring original aspect ratio) a checkbox option.

I agree, most of the times you don't want your clip to be stretched.

Enabling these options should probably also lock manual X Y scale editing on that clip.
