Drag and drop Vertex colors and UV maps to node editor
A simple, but I think yet still a nice trick that would speed up our workflow, would be to allow us to drag and drop for example Vertex colors and UV-maps to node-editor from object data tab and it would automatically create an Attribute or UV Map node from that.

What would the user click to drag? Just the list item in Mesh Properties? Maybe there should be some kind of indicator in the interface that hints to the user that these elements are draggable.

I think the icon itself is the indicator. Just like in the materials you can drag that "material ball" to objects.
